PICKUPS
Please note that we do not allow pickups of items. In most cases, the goods are still at the location of the sellers we are acting on behalf of, which could be anywhere in Australia, and most of these sellers employ warehouse situations which are not designed for direct customer interaction. Our freight prices will usually reflect upon your proximity to the stock's location, and we are constantly attempting to obtain better freight prices for our customers. Occasionally we do actually warehouse or hold stock on behalf of our sellers, but again, we also are not set up for walk in traffic, as we are attempting to keep the prices down for you the customer.

All Items sold As Is

All items sold by Tropicaltech, unless specifically noted, are sold on an as is basis. In many instances Tropicaltech never views the item, and relies on the seller accurately describing the item and its condition and/or possible usage. In all cases to date however, Tropicaltech has never found fault with the experience or knowledge of any of its sellers, and no buyer complaints have ever been lodged as to the accuracy of the description of goods.

Payment of Accounts

Please note that goods will not be approved for release for delivery until all monies owing including freight have been received and verified. For speed convenience and your financial safety, Tropicaltech accepts direct funds transfer only, either online or at a physical branch. Bank details will be communicated to buyers upon notification of the ability for fulfilment of their order or completion of an ebay auction. Please follow any instructions included, Tropicaltech has many sales happening around the World at any given time, and it is in the buyers best interest to help Tropicaltech make their shopping experience a pleasant one by following instruction.

Delivery

Tropicaltech uses a combination of courier services as well as Australia Post whenever possible to try and obtain delivery at the best possible price for the buyer, and most deliveries will have to be signed for. The buyers phone number is required for couriers, this is not a requirement of Tropicaltech, but a requirement of most courier companies. Whenever couriers are used, Tropicaltech will attempt to deliver the con note number to the buyer so that the buyer may track their item on its course for delivery. HOWEVER, in all cases, once Tropicaltech has notified the buyer that delivery has been initiated, contact with Tropicaltech to attempt to track or trace the item is pointless, in this circumstance the couriers website is the correct location. Please allow up to 14 (working) days for delivery.

Damage or Loss

Tropicaltech is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any goods. If problems do arise, please contact us, and we shall endeavour to resolve any issues.

Errors and Omissions

While all care is taken, any errors or omissions in the image or item details is unintentional and in most cases Tropicaltech is reliant upon third parties for descriptions and other information. In some cases, images may not be available of the actual item for sale so similar item images will be used. Where ever possible, if this situation arises, Tropicaltech will attempt to make note of this to make the buyer aware.

Condition of Items and Occupational Health and Safety Obligations

1. State and Federal Legislation imposes obligations, such as providing and maintaining a safe work environment and preventing exposure to and protection from hazards on persons who use or operate plant or equipment in a workplace and on employers whose employees use or operate plant or equipment. If the buyer intends to use items purchased from Tropicaltech, then it is the responsibility of the Buyer to inform themselves of these obligations.

2. Unless otherwise stated all items plant and or equipment sold by Tropicaltech has not been assessed or inspected by a competent person and it may or may not be affected by faults or defects, which make it unsafe for use. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure assessment and inspection by a competent person.

3. The Buyer is warned that items not previously assessed or inspected by a competent person may be suitable for scrap or spare parts only.

4. The Legislation requires that owners of plant and equipment maintain safety and health information and records. Tropicaltech will pass on to the buyer all information as made available to them by the owner, but Tropicaltech does not warrant that the information and records are complete and accurate. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to familiarise themselves with all relevant information and records.
