Fee structure

Tropicaltech charges a flat fee of 10% of the sale price, inclusive of GST content. This is exclusive of any possible additional costs that may be incurred, under explicit instruction by or negotiation with the Seller. If for example the Seller explicitly instructs Tropicaltech to advertise in a specific medium or arrangement is made for special marketing terms, this would be under negotiation and agreement between the Seller and Tropicaltech, any such additional costs would also have a GST component. As an alternative....

ASSET ACQUISITIONS 

Tropicaltech is prepared in many circumstances to negotiate an outright asset purchase, a guaranteed dollar return offers the Seller a no risk consideration, which is often of great interest for Sellers interested in minimizing uncertainty.

Description Warehousing and Dispatch

Tropicaltech relies on the Seller to accurately describe the goods and the condition of them, and where required to transmit to Tropicaltech digital images of the goods whenever possible. Tropicaltech can provide at additional cost, warehousing facilities for Sellers stock awaiting disposal, prices vary dependant on size and quantity of stock. If Tropicaltech is not warehousing the Sellers stock, the Seller is expected to dispatch the stock in a timely manner upon notification of buyers details. It is normal for Tropicaltech to not allow pickup of sold items in person, this is at the discretion of the Seller if the Seller is warehousing the stock, but this is not an expectation of sale.

Freight

Freight is at the expense of the buyer unless under special marketing agreement by the Seller, and Tropicaltech shall cause to be delivered to the Seller, buyer address information and consignment notes as and if required. However, if the Seller has a large contract commitment with a courier service, and if it is further in the best interest of the buyer, it may be agreed upon the Seller providing the freight at a set price, such additional freight charges as agreed to be in addition to the sale price whereupon Tropicaltech shall pay such freight price from the buyer to the Seller.

Payment

If the Seller is warehousing the stock, then upon notification that the buyer has received the goods, Seller will be paid all monies for such stock. Most often this is accomplished by check of the consignment number via the couriers facilities. If Tropicaltech is warehousing the stock, then the Seller will be paid immediately funds are clear to Tropicaltech. All payments are performed by electronic transfer to the Sellers account, with statements and invoices transferred by email. Dependant upon individual Sellers requirements, stock and quantities, Tropicaltech can vary the payment timing and method.
